Requirements for GHS

•Students must be at least sixteen (16) years of age (Ed Code §48400).

STUDENT AND PARENT MUST AGREE TO AND SIGN AN ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT.

Attendance is required. Within these requirements, the students work at their ownp ace and can earn additional units each grading period. Goodwill High School’s course of studies is divided into four (4) grading periods each year. Students must earn a minimum of three (3) credits per classper grading period.

To make significant progress toward graduation, IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT STUDENTS EARN MORE THAN THE MINIMUM UNIT REQUIREMENT EACH GRADING PERIOD.

If less than minimum credits are earned per grading period, the following may occur: parent-student-teacher conferences, student study team meetings, suspend in-school or out-of-school, offer other alternatives, and ultimately may be forced to recommend semester suspension. The student may be requested to return to their home school.
